It appears your Elijah did not die in Gladwin County unless Elijah was his middle name. There was a William E. Hall who died in July 1919.

Elijah and Mary had a son named Floyd Hall who was 15 in the 1910 census. We have at least three deaths of men named Floyd Hall, the the only Floyd E. Hall I find is the one who died 9/5/1972 and whose obituary was in the Gladwin County Record on 9/6/1972.

I see an obituary for Mary Hall in the GCR on 1/16/1913 and again a week later, but I find no corresponding death record, so she may have died elsewhere.
