I see now that there was an obituary in the January 23, 1913 Gladwin County Record for Mary, and one on January 16, 1913 for her also, but I do not find a death record for her in the county death records. Then, there is an obituary for Margaret Hall that matches the county death record for Margaret Hall in February 1913. It is clear, then, that they were different people, but for some reason Mary's death was not recorded in Gladwin County.
If you want, I can try and look up the obituary and see if it sheds any light on where Mary died. I find no obituary listing for Elijah Hall, nor do I find a death record.
Don Hall, whose wife, Ulra died two years ago, is still around. He and Ulra worked with me on the Beaverton Centennial Committee in 2003. Don's sister Fran (Hall) Ferrell is still active with the Beaverton Historical Society. Don and Fran would have a lot of direct memories of your family, and would be excellent resources for you.
I just talked to Fran and found that Elija was born 1851 in Napanee, Ontario and died Jan. 12, 1935. Mary had Tuberculosis and died at a sanitorium somewhere else. I will find more for you later. It is interesting to me because the Hall family has been such a big part of Beaverton history.
