Huffman's of Flint Michigan - Where to look for research resources?

My family genealogy has led me to Flint Michigan. Emma Himes Huffman's Obituary from 1943 (of Tullahoma Tennessee) listed four of her children as living in Flint Michigan:

Mary Jane Huffman Miles
Nannie Huffman Carter
James Huffman
Calvin Huffman

Her other three children, Emma Huffman Casteel, Frank Huffman and Daniel Huffman lived in Tullahoma at the time.

I am trying to locate possible sources of information. Can anyone point me in the direction of what resources might be available? Or who could assist me in my search in the Flint Michigan area?

I have been told that there is a pedigree chart in the Perry Collection for Nannie Huffman Carter, done by William Carter, Jr. I would love a copy of this, but do not know where to look or who to ask.

Any information or pointers as to where to start would be greatly appreciated.
