The marriage records give the following information:
James E Wade of Elba in Lapeer Co age 50 born in Cattaragus Co, NY, farmer,; married Frances H Remington of Goodrich age 39, born Atlas Township, Mi; were married Apr 3, 1886 at Goodrich, Mi by WM Ward, Methodist Minister. witness Franklin L Remington of Goodrich & Mrs H. (looks like Senior) (under her name is written Manning in another hand)
Artimus Wade age 26 of Genesee Co married Nov 21, 1864, Maryan (S or A) Campbell age 25 of Genesee Co.; the marriage was witnessed by Henry JD Beckwith and Larson(?) R Beckwith and performed by WH Hughes JP of Genesee Co.
I believe that Artemas (Artimus) Wade (b. abt 1838/9)was the son of James Wade Sr and brother of James E Wade Jr (b. abt 1835)(who married Frances). From the census and the unusual name I believe Artemas' wife died before 1870 when he is living with his father. In 1880c Artemas is a trapper living in Lapeer Co, and in 1900 he is an inmate of the Lapeer Co Poor Farm, now 61 years old.
His brother, James and wife Frances both lived until after 1910, in Lapeer or Oakland Co. They were both married twice (1910 census.) She had 7 children, 3 still living.
I have details and more on the Remington and Wade families from census records. I didn't find where the Wades were buried.
