We are researching Josiah Begole, the 19th Governor of Michigan. He was in office from Jan 1, 1883 to Jan 1, 1885.
He was born in Groveland, New York, on Jan 20, 1815. He died June 5, 1896, in Flint, Michigan. His spouse was Harriet A. Miles.
Josiah was interred in Glenwood Cemetery, Flint, Michigan. Also, we have a sampler, which is reported to have been done by his sister, Sally AKA Sarah Begole in August of 1831. From what we can find out, we believe she was age 10 when she made this outstanding sampler.
Can anyone recommend the name of a Museum in Flint, Michigan, which might be interested in discussing the valuable work of art and history?

Santee, California
