EDWARD SOLOMON CLARK b.1901Harbor Spring

My grandfather was born in Harbor Springs,Emmet co, Mi Sept.19,1901 and adopted.
His mother was M.Assiginack (or Blackbird) and was an Odawa Indian whose father was an uncle of Andrew J. Blackbird. I am searching for the Clark part of this family. I believe his father was an Englishman named Clark. Edward was raised Roman Catholic and was left-handed. At age 15 he is recorded as a godfather(sponsor) of a
baptism on Manitoulin Island (lake Manitou, Sucker Lake). Edward married a lady who died of TB probably in the 1920's and remarried Mary Leila Isabelle Wilhelm. They lived in or near Pontiac Mi where the first five of their 11 children were born. He was a welder and probably worked for an auto manufacturer. One source named a company called Dehavilland. If anyone has any suggestions or info please post here or on the Clark forum as I currently haven't an email address.
Thank you, Connie
