I could use some help locating my Aunt Rebecca Story. I have her obit which states she died in Grand Ledge. I have been to the Eaton County court house and there is no death record for her. The obit also states she is buried in Grand Ledge.
She died Nov. 2, 1894. Her parents were John and Hannah McDaniel or McDaniels. John McDaniels died Mar. l6, 1873 and Hannah McDaniels died Dec. 7 1876. They died in Oneida Township. I can't find any of these folks. The McDaniels death records were in Eaton County Court house. Can't find where they are buried either.
Rebecca Story received a Civil War pension that was delivered to Grand Ledge Post Office. Her son Charles Story is buried in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
