Lovina Marrs age 16 (born 1844-1845) is listed with parents Alexander and Ursula Marrs in the 1860 census in Berrien County MI.

Not sure this is the same family but, in 1880 Vina Hart born in 1844-1845 is listed with GW Hart born about 1841 in Missaukee County, MI. They have a 14 year old son Henry, living with them as well as other children. If this is your relative, maybe he was married before?

The marriage certificates I have looked at from the 1860's don't have the parents names, they have the bride and bridegroom's full names and residence and the names of the witnesses. I think sometime in the late 1870's the Michigan marriage certs started to include parents names, but I could be wrong on that.
