Dear Jack,
Thanks for the really swift response!

You did point out one of MY typos...Ursul which should have been Ursula!

Alexander Marrs and his first wife {Jane Walton m. 1837} had a daughter they named LOVINA! Then, when Alexander married Ursula...they named a daughter Lodena/Lodina! Really helpful, huh? But the girls were 8 years apart!

You asked if I knew where they were buried, yes. Alexander Marrs is buried in Union Cemetery, Berrien Co.

Ursula Noggle Hand Marrs is buried in Long Lake Cem. in Berrien near her son, Michael Hand.

Lovina J. Marrs Talbort is buried in Mt. Hope Cem, Lansing.
George Evelyn Hart is also there, died 1928
Lodena Ursula Marrs Hart is there, died 1927
Mary Olive Marrs is there [full sister to Lodena; 1/2 to Lovina, with whom she lived for many years]

George E and Lodena/Lodina had two known children: Charles Herbert Hart b. abt. 1878 and Mary Genevieve Hart.
Mary Genevieve married a Frederick Sterling and they are also buried at Mt. Hope [although Fred was 'ashes']. The cemetery had no real info on the relationships, but I was able to sort them out. They are all buried in the same section C.

I shall now go about contacting the links you sent me! You were so gracious to take the time to help, and I really appreciate it.

I stumbled across a posting for a Horace E. Hart late yesterday, and it clearly states his father was Adam B. Hart b. in VT in 1815. There is some brilliant research online about a Martin Hart of VT b. 1801...Adam's brother!

They list Adam's family: Eliza A wife; son Horace E. Hart,
Herbert W. Hart; George E. Hart; girls Ellen and Ada F.

So, now I just want to find a 'cast in stone' connection like a birth cert., or death cert. because Adam died intestate!!

I shall be forever grateful for your help!
Most sincerely,
Jan Hart
