Seeking information regarding, and descendents of, George W. Sheldon (1819 - 1897) and his wife, Jane Lawrence (1822 - 1904), daughter of Peter Lawrence and Margret Robins. They are at rest in Munger Cemetery located in Eaton Rapids.
George W. Sheldon is Sheldon Family Association No. 6161 x 3, and is one of seven children of Benjamin (SFA No. 6161) and Lovisa (Rice) Sheldon; my gg-grandfather David F. Sheldon, (SFA No. 6161 x 6) is his brother.
It would be interesting to see if descendents of George W. and Jane are area Sheldon families in and around Eaton and Clinton Counties. This would explain some distant relationships!
I'm looking forward to meeting anyone interested or knowledgeable about this family.
