Thank You for the marriage records for the Cowling family. Some of the information I had located since I posted the original question, but this helped to fill in other blanks. I had already determined that William Cowling was married twice, first to Anna Maria Carbis pre 1869 while still living in Cornwall, England. Anna Maria was the mother to his children. In 1894 William married Anna Maria's sister Mary Carbis (Crabb). Both sister's used the name Mary, so it can be a bit confusing.
