Virgil, Dorothy Davey, Fred's niece, did a genealogy study of the Davey family and she was able to go back to 1573 to St. Neot, Cornwall, England. I have written to my Aunt for information for the study I am trying to do for the Thomas side. I can give you this as of now:

Fred Davey was born 1895 in Norway, MI; married Ruth Williams Johnson 1920 in Norway, MI; their had two sons Edward and Curtis. I have no birth dates for the boys but they did live in Norway, MI until they got older.

Uncle Fred was one of eleven (that's right) the fourth to last sibling.

His father James Henry Davey born 1858 Commonmoor, Cornwall, England, St. Cleer Parish. He died 1929 Norway, MI (Dickinson County).

Fred's mother, Lucy Ann Olliver, was born 1857 Trevethy Stone, St. Cleer Parrish, Cornwall. Married James Henry 1880 Liskeard, Cornwall, England. Died 1913 Norway, MI. (Dickinson County).

There is more and I am trying to get information put on a pedigree map which will help me see the "flow" of everthing. I will email you later, if OK by you, with the line of great/great/great and so on grandparents.

You must be a railroad buff, my brother back in WI has the rr.com as well. I will get back as soon as I can, I am working on my maternal AND paternal genealogy. Thanks for your patience. Janet
