Thank you for replying to my post!
Bonafazio was my greatgrandmother Anna's brother. Her parents were Serafino and Carmella (Colavechio)Gianunzio. What I know about Bonafazio is that he came to America in 1907 from Buenos Aires (I found this out since my original post). He and his brother John tried to come to the US around 1900 at the same time as my g-grandmother but were unable at that time because they did not have a trade so they headed to Argentina. This is what I was told by my father.
Serafino was born in 1838 and died sometime prior to 1900 in Capestrano, Italy.Carmella was born July 1, 1833 and died August 30, 1923 in Iron Mountain.Carmella came over with my grandmother and Anna in August of 1900.
I don't know if you know Bonafazio's siblings but here they were Anna, Louisa, Antoinette, James (Vincenzo), and John.As far as I know they all came to America except possibly John who according to my father may have stayed in Argentina. Do you have any info on that? James resided in Gaastra, MI and Louisa resided in Mammaroneck, NJ.I hope what I have is helpful.
