Here are some more listings:

1915-16 Escanaba and Delta County, MI Directory
Escanaba Directory:

John Dineen, resided at 301 N. Mary. Also residing at that address was: Elizabeth Dineen and Leo J. Dineen, clerk.

There was no surname of Dineen listed in the 1921-22 directory. (John Dineen died in 1919).

I did another search and found that the saloon was called, "Senate" Saloon, not "Senator", located at 618 Ludington St. in Escanaba, owned by William H. Hamm in 1889. William lived at 1007 Thomas St. at that time.

Have you been to the Delta County Genealogical Society website? There are many items relating to your Hamm and Dineen families.
