Looking for obit for William John Micks who passed away on
June 30 - July 1 1936. He lived in Gladstone, Delta Co
A newspaper article from the News-Palladium (Benton Harbor MI) reports
he was age 73 and that his body was removed from the Slaughter & Heardsley
funeral home in Benton Harbor to Gladstone for funeral services and burial.
I would like to find his obituray and place of burial - I have searched endlessly for this information. This article also states he was a retired Mich banker and the information that shows up for his occuptation on the census from 1900 to 1930 mentions nothing of him being a banker. So I really need to follow this through to establish if the death report is the same W J Micks. It seems to be him but I have to prove it. He was born in Ontario Canada in 1861. (predeceased) and Roy.
