Looking for any information or connections with William Fairbotham who moved to Grayling Michigan around early 1880's. His mother Susan may have moved with him. I have found him on some census and his marriage to Alta May Head. She died young and I located a notice in the paper of him looking to adopt out the three youngest children.
William appears to also have had a son John Fairbotham prior to marrying Alta May, with someone named Jane. I believe he and Alta May had children Lulu, William H, Margaret, Mildred, Cecile, Fern, Hersel.
I am researching William's sister Alice/Alise in Ontario.
