I am looking for a missing family. Specifically Harley Thomas Brown(1876-1948), his wife Mary Jane Brown(Percell)and 12(at least) children. Charles, Nellie, Cassie, Lois, George, Norwood, Ena, Glady, Dudley, Edna, William, and Clifton. You would think a family that large wouldn't be too hard to find. I have them in Moncalm Co. on the 1880 and 1900 census. Those that were alive by then of course. The first four children were born in Moncalm between 1898 and 1903. George was born in Clinton Co. in 1904. Norwood and Ena back in Montcalm Co. in 1905 and 06. Gladys I have no record of where in 1908, but than Dudley was born in Clinton Co. early 1910. The last 3 children were born in 1911-14-16, but I have no record of where. On the 1920 census I have pretty much the Whole group living together in Gratiot county. By the 1930 census I have Clifton still living with his Dad Harley in North Shade TWP. Gratiot Co.. Mary had passed on 3 yrs earlier, the rest are on their own or at least not in the same house. Although George is living next door(farm) to his in laws who were farming at the time. and are listed only 14 spots away from his father and brother. I have nothing on them in the 1910 census. They should be still together unless some died at an early aga, and I have of them living into adulthood. I dont have the death date of Edna, but she lived at least until 1928 when she was married. Other than her all but one lived into the 70's I think. Any help would be wonderful Thanks Notify Administrator about this message?
