In 1870 there is a Joseph Jones in Sanilac cty, Speaker twp. Wif's name is Annie. Some of the children are the same as mentioned in your posting. In 1880 Jonas Jones appears in More twp. Sanilac county with the same wife and same children; only one child Abigail is now 24 and presumed married. All the others have aged 10 yrs.
Check the death index below, there is a Anna Jones (2) who died in 1872. Parents were Jonas and Annie. Franklin won't show up until the 1900 census as an adult.
