HALSTEAD and JEFFERIES, Mary A. Halstead and George W. Jefferies were married and lived in Clare, Michigan. Their son Charles was born Jan. 10, 1872. I would like to find his birth record. Also had a son Ellison A. Jefferies, but I don't know when he was born ? George was in the meat business. Would there be any city directory listing his business ? George moved with sons Charles and Ellison to Charlevoix, Michigan when Charles was young, probably around 1875 to 1880 ? I believe Mary Halstead Jefferies is buried in Clare. What cemeteries are in Clare ? How can I find where my great great grandmother is buried and her obituary ? ANY help on this is most appreciated, Lynda
