Thank you for your reply. We were away on vacation for a while. I did find the information I wanted by accident. I thought the the signature on the postcard I had was W. H. Bud Day but it actually was W. H. Bulkley, a priest from the Episcopal Church in Alpena. I read an article about the fire in the thumb area and his name was in the article as missing at the time. The W. H. rang a bell and I looked at the signature on the post card. I just mis-read it.
