hello. I know this was posted a long time ago. but my Step-Father (who adopted me) was one of Jack Staffan's younger sons. His name is James Staffan. The family is so large and distant from each other i don't know if i would recongnize half of them on the street. But This much I know.
My dad, James F staffan, is a twin to Joe. My dad lives in Ohio near me. Joe I BELIEVE lives in michigan somewhere, though i never get to see him. I have another uncle here in ohio with us, James T staffan. he's older than my father, I don't know how old. Martha (one of the oldest), Mary (another of the oldest), Sam (the youngest), and Kate all live in traverse city and/or mackinaw area. Uncle Kelly lives near detroit, Uncle Mike lives in Alaska, and Pete died quite a few years ago. before I even met my dad. now that i think about it, that only adds up to 10, theres 11 of them? man. i feel horrible. ... i wonder who i'm forgetting...?
anyway. thats a quick book for you. feel free to contact me if you are still interested. :)
have you seen the plaque in mackinaw of my grandpa jack? it's the coolest. anywho. it's so cool you (were, at least) looking into my family :) why are you doing it? what have you found? the family isn't very close since The mom died. I never was fortunate enough to meet either one of them :(.
anyway. yeah. feel free to contact me :)
