Thanks again for all the good tips. Oddly, we did find an obit which mentioned a Mrs. Wayne Clark at Tillie Hayden's funeral in 1929. That pricked up our ears. My cousin found the Wayne and Stella Clark in Dowagiac in 1930. We did wonder if he was one of the Clarks associated with the funeral parlor. Lots of trips to the Historical Library and the Cass Co courthouse. Need to make a few more..LOL It is these little mysteries that makes genealogy so interesting. A family member goes missing and we just have to find them. I get that you feel the same way about it. Money is an issue in these tough times for me so I have to go whatever way I can to save. I do wish I had enough money to be able to satisfy my curiousity on so many of my family members. The ones that passed after 1930 get harder to find..If I find that the Stella in Dowagiac is our Stella, I'll let you know. Thanks again so much. The genforums are wonderful.
