I am looking for information on Aretus Lacey b: 1805 NY - his first wife Hannah (Van Duyn Auten)Lacey b: 1805 NY d: 8/1/1840 Marshall, MI, she is buried in Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall. - and his 2nd wife Eliza (Horton)Lacey b: 1809 NY. Aretus and Eliza were married in Marshall 10/25/1840.
I am trying to locate Aretus's birth family. There seems to be a connection of some sort between Aretus and several other Lacey's living in Calhoun Co. at that time. Brothers Isaac b: 1776 and Samuel b: 1779 Lacey sons of Ebeneezer Lacey b: 1750.
Isaac's son Allen T Lacey b: 1803 NY is buried in Oakridge Cemetery along with other members of Lacey family as shown on the findagrave.com site
I would appreciate any information.
