I didn't find the parents names, but got the complete birth date and this death record shows his residence as Union Twp., Branch County. So if he died in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, maybe he was visiting or traveling.
Union City, is right on the county line of Branch Co. and Calhoun County. If Ehrl was taken to a hospital, it most likely would have been in Battle Creek.
Now that you have the complete birth date, and you say he was born in Adrian, why not order the birth certificate which should show the parents names and where they were born.

Your Ehrl R. Crandall and Isabelle are buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Quincy, (Branch Co.) Michigan, listed in the cemetery book. There is a note in the book saying Isabelle is buried in Union City, but transcriptions of the gravestones must have listed her name along eith Ehrl in lot 644.
