Mary, I am looking for Benjamin H. Parker, William L. Parker, Samuel D. Parker and Marcellus Parker. Need lookups for marriages, re-marriages, deaths and children. I know that Benjamin Parker died of an accidental gunshot wound in 1844. I would like to find out who his wife was and children. William L. Parker might be a brother to Benjamin and he had children born about the same time as his brother. I am hoping that one of these men is the father of Elizabeth Temperance Parker born about 2 June 1836/37 in Batavia. This Elizabeth is the great grandmother of my husband. We know that a group of Olds and Parkers left Michigan in about 1852 for the Oregon Territory with Martin and Temperance Parker Olds. Don't know if William L. Parker was part of the exodus.....I don't think he was.
I do know that Samuel D. Parker stayed in Batavia/Coldwater and have his marriages to Clarinda Olmstead and second to Mary Jane Devers. I would like you to check if he might have been married before in the 1830-1844 range. Also, the 1850 Branch Co. census has Aaron Bagley married to Elizabeth age 36 with Elizabeth Parker age 16 and Samuel Parker age 11....perhaps the step-children? Look for Aaron Bagley marriage to Elizabeth between 1844 and 1850. Thanks really isn't enough, but, thank you. Marilyn Caswell
