Thanks for the response. This was an old post (2001) and at that time I was trying to locate the burial records for my great grandmother. She died in Berrien County with O. W. Dean handling the arrangements which included shipping her body back to Pittsburgh, PA. I tried for two years to locate her burial location in Pittsburgh and finally decided to try tracking her from the Berrien County end. However, I have now solved the problem. My husband and I visited Pittsburgh and with me standing in their office, the people at the Catholic cemetery where I thought she would have been buried finally located the records. Apparently, showing up in person was more effective than letters and telephone calls.
