Hi, I'm not related to your family but did find a Kritzer family that fits your description in the 1860 census for Berrien Co, MI. Below are the details. Hope this helps in your hunt.

QUICK, WILLIAM, age 6, male, born MI

KRITZER, JOHN, age 21, male, farmer, value real estate 400, value personal estate blank, born OH, married within the year

KRITZER, CATHERINE, age 21, female, born Germany, married within the year
