If William died after 1906, there should be a death or birth certificate (usually only $3.00) that you could get that would name his parents (George) and place of residence. The applications for that can usually be found with the Mi Department of Health, Vital Records, on line. There should be something in the census information on both George and William, possible wills for both in the Berrien County Court House. Have you tried the Berrien County Historical Society? They may have all the tombstone records for the county. The key will be to find a township, church cemetery, church records, etc. I will do some checking around.
