Helen, You are a bit mixed up geographicly. You say they lived next door to the Catholic church in Maple City but that they lived in Benzie County. The Catholic Church you speak of in Maple City is near me and that is Leelanau County. There is no Maple City in Benzie County. So they lived in Leelanau County and that's probably why they were burried in Rose Hill Cemetery which is also in Leelanau Co.
