Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The following families have family histories and/or trees on file at the Bay County Library. Some are complete histories and some are short articles referring to the families in some way. There is a genealogical volunteer on duty for several hours 3 days a week who will do lookups. Contact the Bay County Library baycountylibrary.org for further information.

Another wonderful resource that also has some family trees and histories is the Bay County Historical Museum. There are volunteers there who can do lookups for you also. The web address is bchsmuseum.org.
Hope this info can help get some people started.
