St Joseph's church served mainly the French (Canadian) culture of Bay City. French names were "anglicized" and the spellings were of such variation that some families are hard to find. If you have not already tried to do so, St Jos. will look up the info for a $10 research fee, but there is no guarantee they will find your information. The records at the Clerk's office should contain the parents' names. There are some Polk directories online through www.mifamilyhistory.org/bay that might help you.
