Sorry I took so Long.
The first is from Friday, Feb 12, 1909. They didn't have formal obits back then--usually just a mention of the death and sometimes the family's names. This is what I found:
Mrs. S. McNeil, who has been suffering from paralysis for the past year, passed away at her home last evening, at 411 Twenty-second street. She is survived by her husband, two sons, George and Isadore, and two daughters, Christenia and Isabell.
The second is from Frisday, Nov 23, 1934.
MC NEIL--Funeral services for Stephen McNeil, 89, pioneer resident of Bay City, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Castanier, 411 Twenty-second street, and at 9 a.m. at St. James church. The Rev. Fr. Leo R. Toohey will officiate, and burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetary. Mr. McNeil died yesterday at the Castanier home. He had made his home in Bay City for 71 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Castanier and Isabel McNeil; two sons, george McNeil, Saginaw, and Jack, Tiffin, O.; a brother, Angus McNeil, Bay City, and 13 grandchildren.
Hope this helps!!
