HITCHCOCK: Floyd L. Hitchcock, 1105 Eleventh street, died Friday evening at Samaritan hospital ending an illness of 10 years. Born March 24, 1875, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Hitchcock has been a resident of Bay City for 10 years, coming here as a laborer from Cadillac, Mich. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are his widow, Catherine; four daughters, Mrs. Francis Harmon, of Dansville, NY; Mrs. Helen Daley, of Detroit, Mrs. Geneya Germain, and Alfreda, both of Bay City; three sons, Ernest and Harry, both of Pontiac, and Leddra of Bay City; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Kelly, of Whitesvilloe, NY, Mrs. Ella Campbell, of Edison, NY, and two brothers, Louis, of Dansville, NY and Daniel, of St. Ignace. The Rev. Henry Kreulen will officiate at the funeral service which will be held at the Trahan Funeral Home. Further arrangements will be announced later.
The Trahan Funeral home is still in business under the same name if you want details about the burial.
