Jan,
I don't have a clue on this one. I don't live in Bay City anymore but if I did I would start at the library. I'm am going to Lansing in October to do some work at the State library and if you haven't found the book, I'd be happy to see if they have a copy. LDS might be a possibility as well. Let me know if you're unsuccessful and want me to work on this.
