I need to locate the graves of Abram A. Mead and his wife Mary Ann (?Buckley) Mead of Thornapple Twp. Barry Co Mi.
They are in the 1860 and 1870 censuses of Thornapple, the
last being of village of Middleville where he was a taylor
in the store of his son-in-law Marion F. Dowling. In the 1850's his wife Mary Ann Mead bought land in the township.
I need their dates of death, so as to try and find a will or probate record. Very interested in locating other descendants. Any info on them or any other Mead's of Barry Co. or Kent Co. Mi of interest. I suspect the Hannah Buckley c 1791 Mass. in their home was probably Mary Ann's mother. Their farm was near the Allegan Co/Barry Co line,
not far east of Wayland.
