I have just finished tracking a Lorenzo Dean born in Maple Grove, Barry County, Michigan in Sept 1844 and not sure if his father is the Henry R. Dean out of Canada that I have also been tracking. Lorenzo married Laura Ann Rork on 04 Feb 1868 in Barry County; they had a son Arthur H. Dean born about 1870, possibly in Assyria Twp., Barry, Co. where they lived for many years... Lorenzo and Laura then moved to Battle Creek, Calhoun, Michigan (1900-1920 census) where it is possible Laura died; on 1930 census (07 April 1930), Lorenzo is widowed and living as a lodger in the hhd of a Hurston family. I am not sure when or where he died - have not found that as yet. Information on Laura Ann from marriage record is that she was born in Herkimer County, New York. Can anyone help with more information; any descendants out there?
