Bill, thank you so much for replying to my query after all this time.I believe you're the Bill engaged in Genealogy in L'Anse. I had written to you a couple of summers ago to find out the best time to stop in your office but I never received a reply. My goal had been to locate the graves of Andrew Wahl senior and his wife and perhaps locate their obituary. I waited an entire month and when I didn't hear from you or anyone else, I just decided to take a trip to the UP and check things out on my own. Unfortunately, my cemetery search was unsuccessful. I'm glad to find out when Catharine died...her maiden name was Eckert. Andrew Wahl senior appears to have lived to an old age - I would like to know when he died .. it would have been in the 1920s. Andrew Wahl, 2 brothers, and their mother came from my hometown in Germany. I too am not related but I have spent the last 20 years searching for immigrants from my hometown. I have been puzzled as to why the family moved from PA to Ohio, back to PA and then to northern Michigan, especially since he was not a miner. I live near Port Huron, MI. If you like, I can send you the entire family tree for your archives. Thank you again for your kind response. Ursula B Adamson Notify Administrator about this message?
