Seeking to exchange genealogical information with persons connected to the early German settlers of Deep River Township, Arenac County, many of whom arrived between 1881 and 1890 from the area of Briesen, Westprussia. Family surnames include Hertzberg, Felske, Marks, Sonnenberg, Treichel, Kaschub, Schmelzer, Pehlke, Streuer, Templin and Netzlaff.
