The body of Mrs. Charles WOODROW arrived in Alpena this afternoon from Detroit, where her death occurred of a heart attack Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at her home, 718 McKinstry Avenue.
Mrs. Woodrow was well known in Alpena where she leaves a large cicle of friends to mourn her death. The Woodrow family having been among the earliest settlers in Alpena. Mrs. Woodrow was born in Thurso, Quebec and came to Alpena as a young girl. About 23 years ago the Woodrows moved to Detroit to make their home but always returned to Alpena for the summer months where they resided at their home on State avenue. Mrs. Woodrow had planned to arrive in Alpena within a few weeks to spend her usual time there for the summer. Mr. Woodrow died four years ago.
