Allegan MI Railroad Station 1880's-90's Info sought Please!

My Greatgreatgrandfather was William L. Kellogg. He owned a number of livery stables, in Grand Rapids, Holland, South Haven. He was a horse trader as well. I have Western Union and other letters and documents from the 1880's and 1890's where he was dealing with a J. Richardson, Boston, who was a big horse seller there.

I know from some of these documents that he sometimes shipped horses out of Allegan. I have originals, not copies.

Any information on where the railroad station was at that time and anything else about it would be greatly appreciated.

William L. Kellogg eventually ended up being one of the first Resort Owners in South Haven, Mi. He maintained two livery stables in that town for quite a while.

Any and info desired on anything contained herein.

Thanks,

Gail Moore Boyd
