Hi Gary!
I have seen the Noyes name in some Alpena information. It is one branch that I'm sure connects, but I don't know exactly how.
I have never used soundex. I haven't done a lot with census records other than in Lapeer Co. where I have so many lines and interconnecting lines that I have to search every page.
Thanks again for your help. I'll let you know if I have trouble finding it when I go to LDS next week. Take care.
