FUNERAL RITES HELD SATURDAY FOR OLE RUSTAND
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Ole RUSTAND, 89, who passed away April 30 after an illness of three years. Services were conducted at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Mikkel LONO from the Spruce Presbyterian church. Interment was in the Spruce cemetery.
Mr. RUSTAND was born April 14, 1864, in Leer, Norway. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Christopher RUSTAND. Sixty years ago he came to the United States, settling in Alpena and four years later came to Spruce. He married Amalie ANDERSON in July 1902. Mrs. RUSTAND died in 1952.
Survivors are one son, Olaf Alfred RUSTAND of Spruce; and three grandchildren.
