William Meyer, b. Germany, lived in Bond Co., IL

Please help! I am looking into any information regarding William Meyer and his ancestors. He was born about 1842 in Lippo(?), Prussia, Germany and immigrated to the US in about 1856. He eventually settled in Bond Co., IL; he married a woman from Missouri in 1871, Susan Harter, and they had 7 children together: Henry, Emma, Henrietta, Alice, Matilda "Tillie", George and Albert. Albert was my great-grandfather. Any information would be appreciated and will be happy to share what I have. Thank you.
