I'm looking for information on my great great grandmother Mary A. Meyer(s) b. 6 Jun 1860 d. 15 Jan 1906. She married David William Balmer on 11 Sep 1881 in St. Louis.

I have located her in a census from 1880, which would normally give me info on her family, but at the time she was a live-in servant for another family (Paddock), so I've hit a dead end and don't know how to track her ancestry back from there. I believe she may have been employed by the Reimler family at the time of her death.

Any information and/or suggestions of how to proceed are appreciated!
