My father Jesus Capetillo-Ramos was from Reynosa Tamaulipas. His father's name was Ramon or Vicente Capetillo; mother's name, Maria Soleda Ramos. My father was born in Monterey. He migrated to South Texas (Mission;county Hidalgo). There he met and later married my mother from La Grulla, Texas. He became a U.S. citizen; and dropped the Capetillo surname and kept the Ramos name.
