Hello Norma,
The name of Mendivil has come to my attention lately and I see that your family also comes from Alamos. Same place my family came from. I looked in my database and could find only one Mendivil and "he" is related by marriage which is very recent. I am still unsure of why the name of Mendivil is so fresh in my memory, but I decided to do some checking on the Mormons site. There are lots and lots of Mendivils recorded from Alamos, Sonora. Have you checked this out? Good luck with your search.
Debbie
