Hi Mary Ann,

Sounds more interesting each time. Too many coincidences not to have some kind of connection. My mother was born in Douglas in 1931, and I believe went to grade school there before they moved to Cal. I want to say 15th Ave or 15 St school. Think she was pretty young when they moved. From some of pics and Christening records, know the family of Maunuel and Socorro Mendoza where very good friends in Douglas. Also a family in Gleeson named Nacho and Loretta Valdez.
When did your grandfather come to the states?
I know my greatgrandmother came in 1927 from Sonora, Nogales.
Am really anxious for your dad to read this info.
Sandy
