I have been able to trace my Tisnado ancstors to Juan José Tisnado, son of José Miguel Tisnado and Ma. del Carmen Tapia who was baptized March 31, 1754 at Guevavi. However, I am now at a stonewall.
Other surnames of interest: Monreal/Monrreal, Sesma, Lisarraga/Lizarraga, Daniel, Valdés. All of these being in the area of the Distrito de Altar.
