Obituary Lookup Magdelena 1918

Looking for any info on a Caldwell family that lived in Magdelena in 1918 - 1920 or so. This was the family of Andrew Caldwell, a Presbyterian minister. He came from Michigan to pastor a church there in 1918. His son, John Meikel Caldwell died in October, 1918 after the long car trip there and perhaps of the flu epidemic.
I'm looking for John Meikel's obituary. Does anyone know of newspaper records for the Magdelena area in 1918? His date of death was Oct 8,1918. Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
