Hi Gloria,
Please send me an email with your family outline from Alamos. I will do some checking at FHC on their Mexico Index and also keep an eye out for your surnames while I go over the films I have requested. My email address is gprogers@earthlink.net
Also,..... I have recently found out that there are 2 "Alamos" communities in Sonora. One "Alamos" is much more north than my "Alamos". My Alamos is the Alamos situated very close to the Sinaloa and Sonora border. There are 2 because the southern Alamos used to be in Sinaloa many many years ago before the state border changed.
The Family History Center offers information about 2 Alamos communities. One has the notation "Ures" which is not the one I am researching. Is your family from the Alamos community near Ures? if so, I may not be able to help as previously thought. Let me know.
Debbie
